I've assigned two assignments that we will be working on over the next, several weeks. One is a creative project "My Walden" in which you will think like a Romantic and write about nature, yourself, the world in which we live. Below is a video that will help you make your own journal in which to record these insights.
Here's the nitty-gritty of the assignment, along with the due dates:
You will, also, be reading Grapes of Wrath. It's a very important work and quite extension. I've divided it into thirds so that you can read chunks at a time. Please, keep up with this.
And finally, we wrote a timed essay about disobedience. We will revise and edit and compare to a scored 8 essay.
